I’ve finished the first “Making Waves” sock and casted on the 2nd one last night.
I added several rows of 2×2 ribbing around the ankle to make it easier to slip over the heel.
Weather is waming up around here. I better hurry with these before it’s shorts & sandals time again!

I just realized that I forgot to post my finished Jaywalkers! I finished these on Feb 28 and sent them to Elaine on March 1. I used up 2 complete balls of the KnitPicks Dancing to make these. I was anxious to get started on the Glad Raggs and forgot to post these! (The papayas are from Josh who had just brought them back from Hawaii.)

I’m calling this sweater Hunny because this is for my husband. Being the son of an avid knitter, he was blessed (plagued) all his life with sweaters he hardly wore. So, when I picked up knitting recently, I decided that I will not knit any unwanted sweaters because they took too long and life is too short. Since he requested this sweater, I made an exception, after allowing him to select the yarn, the design details, and the fit. The only compromise is that it can’t be too boring for me. This is what I came up with last weekend. As you can probably guess, the cables are for me. But note, there aren’t too many of them.

Here’s my entrelac swatch, finished and blocked. I don’t know what to do with this yet. I’ll probably add it to one of the Project Linus blankets.
Entrelac is fun to do. I learned to knit backwards in the process!
